We are proud to announce the outstanding work that is being done by the students involved in the DECA - Graphic Arts intensive. It is a unique opportunity where students design and produce shirts/graphics for school activities, clubs, and other various AIMS associations. This initiative does many things, from bringing spirit to our school to providing an extremely valuable hands-on learning experience for all of the students involved.
What makes this initiative even more special is that the students chose to be part of it. They signed up because they wanted the challenge, enjoy the creative process, and are excited about the work they are doing. Their enthusiasm and commitment shine through in every project, making the shirts they create even more meaningful to our community.
Through this program, AIMS students are gaining essential, real-world skills including marketing, supply management, product design, and production. At the same time, all of our students are developing their teamwork, problem-solving, and time management skills. These are all very important as they move throughout the AIMS environment and beyond. These students engage in every step of the process from the concept of the art to the final product, and the students can take pride in seeing their hard work have an impact across the school.
On top of this, the T-shirt production is also directly benefiting everyone at AIMS. Whether producing shirts for PE, Houses, or other student clubs, these students are working towards a more involved AIMS community. Additionally, keeping the T-shirt production within the school fosters a unique sense of pride, supports local engagement, and strengthens AIMS as a whole.
We are proud of all the hard work and commitment that these students are putting towards our school. Their efforts are benefiting school spirit, student associations, and most importantly, providing these students with skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
